Insight into the DREAMS method: students could really explore their creativity

Cecilia, a teacher from AEB (Portugal) shares her experience with the DREAMS piloting:

I usually teach students that are approaching this transition to secondary school. The best part of the pilot for me was seeing the creativity in how the students performed the role-playing activities. The most difficult part of the pilot was the pandemic situation, that made the interaction and communication between students more difficult, as they have to keep physical distance. I learned that during this transition to secondary school kids face insecurities and big expectations. Non-verbal language is an important tool for the communication and knowledge transmission. An advice for other educators is that they should let the students express their insecurities and doubts. They should listen and be a pillar of information and security.
